The Portkeys monitors’ Camera Control function is compatible with Sony’s remote control units and adapters for system cameras are designed to extend operational and creative possibilities. The signal HDMI or SDI cable must be connected to allow the monitor to communicate with the camera. The Camera Control of Portkeys monitors are available for Sony cameras via LANC control cable, MULTI control cable, or Type-C (USB-C) control cable.
Establishing all physical connections, including connecting the power supply for the Portkeys monitor, connecting the Portkeys monitor with your camera using a correct cable, as well as set up a wired HDMI or SDI connection, you should be able to use the control functionality.
On your monitor, swipe down from the top of the screen to access the “Camera Control” settings. Tap the “BMPCC(BLE)” icon on the right panel of the screen, select your camera model options: Sony(MUTI), Sony(LANC), or other options. If you cannot find the brand of your camera, swipe left from right in the bottom area to switch to the next pages.
Note: To control the Sony A7S III camera, You must turn off the camera “USB power supply” function, Otherwise you can’t control the camera.

Portkeys monitor enables users to start/stop recording or adjust IRIS, shutter speed, ZOOM, SINGLE FOCUS, ISO.
If have a Sony A7C or FX3, you can connect your camera with Portkeys monitor using a Type-C (USB-C) control cable.
