13 Inch Monitor Dimensions Related Information

13" monitors are compact, and they take up less room on your desk. They're a great choice if you have limited space or if you're looking for something portable.

13.3 diagonal inches

The diagonal measurement of a monitor is the distance from one side to the opposite side. This measurement is unique to each size and shape of monitor, but it is often used as a way to measure a screen's size.

  • 3 inches (measured diagonally) is the standard size for monitors that are not laptops or tablets. In fact, many manufacturers will offer both 14-inch and 17-inch models with 13-inch screens in between them as well.

  • 11.8 by 7.9 inches

  • 1 by 3.5 by 8.2 inches

1 by 3.5 by 8.2 inches

The dimensions of a monitor, in inches, are measured by the total width (width) and total height (height). A 13-inch screen has a width of 13 inches and a height of 9.5 inches, so it is 9.5 inches deep (1/3rd the total height).

The depth of your monitor is measured from front to back, while its width and length are measured from side to side or top to bottom respectively. The difference between these two measurements can cause confusion if you don't know what dimension they refer to - often leading people mistakenly thinking their monitors are shorter or wider than they actually are!

13 inch monitors are compact not just in width, but also in height and depth

13 inch monitors are compact not just in width, but also in height and depth. This makes them lighter, more portable and easy to transport. The small size is also ideal for use with small desktops or in small spaces such as dorm rooms or apartments where you don't have a lot of room on your desk or wall.

There are many monitors available for you to choose from, but we think that our list of the best 13 inch monitors is a great place to start. We know that everyone has different needs when it comes to their computers and laptops, so we wanted to give you some options for different types of screens. Whether you’re looking for something portable or just want something with maximum screen real estate, there are plenty of options here!
