Online courses are a great way to get an education, but they can be challenging at times. Here are some tips for making the most of your online learning experience:
Make sure you have a quiet place to study. It's hard to concentrate with loud noises or people around, so if your study room is in the middle of your house, try moving it to a different area where there are fewer distractions.
Make sure you have a good internet connection and Camera Monitor computer to work with when taking classes online. If you're using an old laptop that has trouble loading pages and isn't set up for streaming video, this can make learning difficult (and frustrating). It'll also be helpful if your computer has a large monitor and keyboard so that it's more comfortable for typing essays or writing research papers.
Get yourself some decent office furniture: chair, desk and shelves/storage space if possible! Having somewhere comfy to sit while working on homework will help keep motivation levels high—and being able to store things off the floor makes cleaning up much easier!
Study from home. This is not to say that you should never go to campus, but if you can get the same results from studying at home, why not?
In addition to being comfortable and flexible, studying at home is also convenient for those who may be juggling a busy schedule. You can set your own hours and get the help you need when it's most convenient for you.
While studying on campus may mean social interaction with other students or teachers, it's not always ideal or necessary (depending on what kind of student you are).

If you’re like me, grades can be a touchy subject. Whether they are important or not depends on what your goals are and how mature you are as a person.
My parents have always said that grades don’t matter because they didn't go to college and they've managed to make a decent living for themselves. But the truth is, their success doesn't mean that grades aren't important at all - it just means that there are other ways to succeed without getting good marks in school.
For those who want a degree from an accredited university, get accepted into graduate school or get hired for the job of their dreams: yes, grades really do matter! For example, if you don't get good marks during your first year at university then you won't be able to continue studying there (even if it's free). If this happens then maybe now would be an excellent time for mommy/daddy dearest
Pay attention to the results. The results are the most important thing, and they're also the only thing that matters. In fact, they're literally the only thing that will matter in the future. And based on those results, you'll be able to tell whether or not your strategy was effective and worth continuing with.
