I have a camera that I love so much, and I would like to tell you about it. If you are looking for something that's lightweight and easy to use, this might be the one for you. It has a flip-out screen that allows you to see what you're shooting from above or around corners where it would be difficult to see otherwise (which is pretty much everywhere). The camera also has 3x optical zoom and more digital zoom (which is useless), but that doesn't matter because the focusing isn't precise enough to use the digital zoom without blurring anyway. There's also an onboard microphone that records sound at 720p resolution at 30 fps; however, for best results we recommend using an external microphone when possible because it will pick up better audio quality even though its not as portable as this one here
Let's get back to the basics. It's a camera, and it has buttons like any other camera. You can take pictures with it. You can change the settings so that you can take better pictures or use more features on your Camera Monitor if you want to learn how to do that.
This is a camcorder too, but don't worry if you're not familiar with what those are because this one isn't heavy at all and doesn't require a lot of technical knowledge or experience in order to use it properly. The 3x optical zoom lens lets you get close up shots without having to move around very much (and potentially irritate people who were trying their best just not look at your video).

The focusing isn't precise enough to use the digital zoom without blurring. The image is slightly out of focus when you use it, and this becomes worse as you zoom in further.
The resolution on the External Camera Screen is 800×600, which is fine for most uses but will show up graininess in images taken at high ISO settings.
The built-in microphone isn't a professional one. It's not a shotgun, or a directional mic, or anything else. It's just the standard internal microphone that comes with most consumer camcorders.
If you need more control over the sound you're recording, you'll have to get an external mic—especially if you're using it for interviews or other situations where good sound quality is important.
The camera can record SD video at 720p, 30 fps and 1080p, 30 fps. The 720p at 60fps is only 4GB per hour of video, so if you want to record a long video without having to stop and change the SD card, you'll need 32 GB SD cards or 64 GB if you want to capture your entire life in HD (which I wouldn't recommend).

The CX450 does not have digital zoom, but this isn't really necessary as the optical zoom is more than adequate.
In conclusion, the Canon PowerShot SX510 HS is a great camera for people who want to take selfies or get close up shots of small things or objects on the ground. It has a flip-out screen that allows you to see what you're shooting from above or around corners where it would be difficult to see otherwise.
