Welcome to the monitor! This guide will help you get started with your new baby monitor. It has many features and options, but don't worry—we'll walk you through everything so that you'll be able to use it right away.
Unpack the monitor and make sure it is in good condition.
Connect the monitor to your PC using the VGA cable (included).
Switch on the power supply of your monitor, then switch on your PC or laptop, and wait for at least 5 minutes for it to finish booting up before you continue setting up your new device.
Follow these steps:
Press Menu > Picture > OSD Language > English; if you don't see an English option here, scroll down until you find one that works best for you or simply move on to step 5 instead!
Read the safety instructions before you start using the Camera Monitor.
Be careful when you are using the monitor.
Be careful when you are cleaning the monitor.
Be careful when you are moving the monitor.
Be careful when you are storing the monitor (i.e., don't leave it in direct sunlight).
This camera comes with a 2.4-inch screen, which is perfect for monitoring your baby from another room or even outside the house. The LCD screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio and 480 x 234 resolution, giving you a clear picture that's easy to see from far away. This monitor also comes with an integrated camera so you can see exactly what your child is up to while they play in their crib or bed!
In addition to a built-in camera, this video monitor features night vision so you can keep an eye on things when it gets dark without having to turn on any lights that would interfere with their sleep cycles. You'll also be able to talk back through two-way audio by using the built-in microphone and speaker so your little one can hear you if he or she needs something, whether it's changing diapers or going down for naps/bedtime rituals without making too much noise around them (and vice versa).
There are several other great features included as well such as remote pan/tilt control (for moving the picture left/right) and remote zoom control (for zooming in closer) if needed; these allow parents maximum flexibility when setting up where they want their cameras positioned within each room at home before actually mounting them onto walls manually which saves time later on down the road when installing multiple cameras at once instead of just one per location like many other brands do!
How do I set up my monitor?
You may want to consider testing your monitor before you begin setting it up. This way, you can ensure that everything is working and then make adjustments as needed. To start, connect your computer to the monitor using an HDMI cable; then use a DVI or VGA cable for older computers (both of these types are included in the box). Next, connect the power adapter and plug it into an outlet near where you plan on setting up your new device. If you'd like to use headphones or speakers connected directly from this device rather than those built into your computer or laptop (which means no wires), plug them into any one of the three audio outputs: 1/8" jack headphone jack, RCA stereo audio output or 3.5 mm headphone output on back panel of display screen unit itself."
Once you've connected your monitor to the computer, you'll need to install some drivers. This will allow it to communicate with your PC and other devices. Once that's done, calibrate your monitor by adjusting the brightness and color settings. Calibration is especially important if you plan on using this as a second screen for gaming or watching movies because it affects how much light gets out of the picture tube into your eyes. It takes about half an hour but it's worth doing!
Once you've got everything set up and configured properly, use OSD (on-screen display) menus on both monitors so that they're synced perfectly together: same color mode (RGB), resolution(s), refresh rate(s), etc.. If there are any differences between them (such as different resolutions), change them through OSD menus until both images look identical when viewed side-by-side at an equal distance from each other's screens—otherwise one may look better than another depending on where they're positioned relative against each other!
The On-Screen Display (OSD) can be accessed by pressing the OSD button on your monitor.
The OSD allows you to adjust several settings, including:
Contrast / Brightness / Sharpness - you can use this menu to manually adjust these elements of your display. However, if you want to change them frequently, it's recommended that you use a graphics card's control panel instead.
Monitor Settings - this is where you can set up your monitor for different kinds of tasks (gaming vs photo editing vs office work), but not all monitors have this setting available in their menus due to lack of features or lack of demand for such a feature.
Color Temperature - adjusts how warm or cool colors appear on screen; usually not adjustable using an LCD monitor since manufacturers fix them at factory default levels; may also be called 'Color Tuning'.
If you are having trouble setting up your monitor, please read the quick start guide first. If you are having trouble using the monitor, please read the quick start guide first.
The following common issues should be resolved with a power cycle of your device:
Monitor is stuck in standby mode and resetting it via button or remote does not work.
Monitor continues to blink its power light even after unplugging and re-plugging it into a different outlet.
The Quick Start Guide is the first thing you’ll need to read, as it provides instructions for how to set up your monitor. First, connect the power cable to the monitor and plug it into a power source (the outlet or USB port). Next, connect an HDMI cable from your computer/source device to the HDMI port on your monitor. If you are using a wireless mouse and keyboard, now is when they should be turned on!
After reading this manual, you should be able to set up and use your monitor with ease. We hope you enjoy using your monitor as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it!
