If you're looking to record professional quality video, having an external monitor through HDMI will help with your video editing! Don't have a HDMI cable? Try looking at the Atomos Ninja V. It records high quality video and is simple to use. Don't have time to edit your videos? Consider pre-cut templates from VideoBlocks. Here's some examples!

Sony A7s III external monitor

Sony A7s III external monitor

For those who love to frame their shots, the Sony A7s III external monitor is an excellent tool. It gives you access to all the data that you'd see on the viewfinder screen, but allows you to use it at a distance from your eye so that other people can see what's being displayed as well.

If you're looking to record professional quality video, having an external monitor through HDMI will help with your video editing!

If you're looking to record professional quality video, having an external monitor through HDMI will help with your video editing!

The benefit of using an external monitor is that it allows you to see what you're recording in real time. This means that if there's something going wrong in the frame—a person walking into the shot or a car driving by—you'll be able to spot it while shooting and move around accordingly. A lot of smaller cameras don't have this feature; they record directly onto the SD card without any kind of preview.

Don't have a HDMI cable? Try looking at the Atomos Ninja V. It records high quality video and is simple to use.

If you don't have an HDMI cable, don’t worry! There are plenty of options for getting a quality one. The first one we recommend is the Atomos Ninja V because it records high quality video and is easy to use. It also comes with a carrying case so it’s convenient if you want to take your camera and monitor on short trips. For example, if you want to shoot some footage of yourself doing yoga at home or something like that, this would be perfect for that!

The other thing about this monitor is that it lets you check your exposure settings while shooting which means less time standing around waiting for things like white balance adjustments in post production workflows. The only downside with this particular model of external monitor setup is that there isn't any audio coming out through these connections either; they're just meant specifically for video outputting purposes only (so no sound through headphones). You could always connect an external mic though if needed but then again then wouldn't really be using all its potential uses as effectively anymore either I suppose...

Don't have time to edit your videos? Consider pre-cut templates from VideoBlocks. Here's some examples!

If you have a lot of footage to edit, it can be tempting to just shove all of your clips into one video and call it a day. But video editing is an art form—and just like any other art form, there are rules.

So if you're looking for some quick inspiration and guidance on how to create a professional-looking project without having an expert editor at your side every step of the way, look no further than VideoBlocks.

VideoBlocks offers pre-cut templates for all kinds of projects: weddings, birthdays, travel vlogs...you name it! They even have pre-cut templates for beginner filmmakers who want advice on getting started with DSLR cameras. You can also choose from different types of music or sound effects that fit within your budget (no more spending hours searching "royalty free" tracks). And don't worry about creating something that looks low quality—every template has been handpicked by editors so that everyone gets high quality content without wasting time finding something themselves!

If you're feeling overwhelmed by all the options available online these days then using these templates could save precious time when creating your next masterpiece!

Add an external monitor for even more professional videos

Once you've got the camera and external monitor, it's time to start shooting. The first thing you'll want to do is connect your HDMI cable from the camera to the external monitor. You can use an HDMI cable like this one from portkeys.com.

Next, set up your external monitor for video editing. Open up your favorite video editing software (I recommend Final Cut Pro) and create a new document with 1920 x 1080 as the resolution and 24 frames per second as the frame rate. Once that's done, select “share” from FCPX’s menu bar at top left corner of screen, then select “export video."

In FCPX’s Export Settings window, click on Video Settings in upper left-hand corner of window (this will open up its own settings window). In this section on right side under "Video Output," choose Customize under "Video Output" option near bottom of panel (you may need scroll down depending on size of screen). For Format choose Container: QuickTime Movie; Codec: AVC Intra 422; Resolution 1920 x 1080 24p; Frame Rate 23.976 fps; Pixel Aspect Ratio 1:1; Audio Channels Stereo uncompressed 48000 Hz PCM — make sure all boxes are checked inside these 4 settings before clicking OK or Next!

Conclusion

The Sony A7s III is a great camera that can shoot professional quality videos. However, if you’re looking to record professional quality video and want to edit them later on, having an external monitor through HDMI will help with your video editing! Don't have time to edit your videos? Consider pre-cut templates from VideoBlocks. Here's some examples!
