A6400 External Monitor Related Information

The Sony a6400 is a very powerful camera. It's capable of recording 8 bit 4k or 10 bit 1080p video, however if you want to record 4k with the Atomos Ninja V, you will need to try using a HDMI splitter. The Atomos Ninja V is not yet compatible with the new Sony mirrorless cameras because they don't have an HDMI input for them (yet). This means that if you want to record clean 4k from your Sony a6400 using an external monitor/recorder like the Atomos Ninja V, then you will need an HDMI splitter (#1)

The Sony a6400 is still not directly compatible with the Atomos Ninja V. The 4k signal from the a6400 is 8 bit and comes in at 4:2:0, which is still not compatible with the Ninja V.

If you want to record in ProRes or DNxHR, you will need an external recorder like the Atomos Shogun Inferno or Amira that can record 10bit internally and then pass along a clean 8bit feed to your monitor through HDMI or SDI.

I have heard that people have been able to make this work using a HDMI splitter. The splitter can be found on Amazon. You plug in your Ninja V into one of the HDMI IN ports and then plug your a6400 into the other port. Then you can connect your Ninja V to another monitor and/or external recorder, like the Atomos Shogun 7, and record clean 4k video.

This can be done by using a HDMI splitter. The splitter can be found on Amazon for about $30 and it will let you plug your Ninja V into one of the HDMI IN ports, then plug your a6400 into the other port. Then you can connect your Ninja V to another monitor and/or external recorder, like the Atomos Shogun 7, and record clean 4k video!

I haven't tried this yet because I currently don't own an Atomos Ninja V but it's on my shopping list. Hopefully within the next year or so, I can put out a video showing how this works and what it looks like.

The splitter is needed to get clean signal from the Sony a6400 to your external recorder so that you can record 4K footage in ProRes HQ codec when using slow motion settings and still have high quality 4K footage from both cameras at once!

It’s time to talk about my favorite part of the Flexloader L: the straps and back padding. The back padding is out of this world, and even with a fully-loaded bag that is close to 20kg, you’ll not feel it on your back, especially your lower back. It has a firm – yet so comfortable – padding with a mesh design and air tunnels, so you don’t sweat.

A few iterations later, after much trial and error, testing, and sleepless nights, my vision came full circle and the handle was launched in August. Since then, the product has seen some solid improvements, including the custom pins (found inside the handle) which can now ensure 5A output, and the custom cabling for the batteries which reduced the internal resistance resulting in minimal heat output and longer recording times.

Nikon Z 6 is the first full-frame mirrorless camera from Nikon – it is the “all-arounder” within the new Z system. It features 24.5MP CMOS sensor and can record UHD 4K video at up to 30fps and full HD at up to 120fps – all in H.264. First of all, the two Allen screws are not imperial, which is arguably more often used in the filmmaking world; they are metric-standard. Next, the screws were so tight I thought I would break them before even using the monitor mount. I had to put the round piece in a vice to unscrew these two screws finally. That’s not cool, but everything is in place, so let’s install it on the top handle!.
